1. What impact do you feel the brokerage service as a whole has had on the organisation?
I found that Jackie had very good knowledge and experience in the industry and knew “her stuff” Training needs analysis helped us identify all the training and development that the staff wished to undertake, I had my own ideas about what I thought they’d need
And it was interesting to find out their individual needs. Once the needs had been identified Jackie pulled together a organisation company training & development plan.
I had no idea what training and development opportunities
available to us, and what funding Jackie to tap into our behalf.

3. What learning and development activities were undertaken?
BII Personal Licence
Foundation Food Hygiene Certificate
ILM Level 3 in First Line Management
ILM Selling & Marketing course
4. How beneficial has this been?
Very beneficial, benefits for the business is that we are legal and compliant to Health and Safety and Food Safety Legislation.
The staff have benefited from the training, their skills and knowledge have improved and they have improved in the way that they work, especially the staff who have undertaken the First Line Management course. I have noticed increased motivation and better team working.
5. How have the individuals developed since undertaking learning and development activities?
They have taken more responsibility and ownership within their roles.
There has been increased motivation and increased team spirit.
6. What impact have the learning and development opportunities had on company performance?
The marketing course was good and helped us focus on our marketing
Activity and have altered as a result of it. I re-designed the menu as a
direct result of this course.

Jackie is very professional in her approach and keeps us informed
about projects avaible to us, she is very knowledgeable, helpful and
a great resource to have. People1st have helped us tremulously, we
had no idea what we could tap into in Derbyshire and I thank
them for assisting us.
